Lawrence Lee is an award-winning cinematographer specializing in storytelling within challenging environments. Based in Rotterdam and operating worldwide, his work sits at the intersection of technical precision and raw exploration.

His career began on the sets of high-end commercial and creative productions, where he gained knowledge on the fundamentals of light and motion and developed a deep technical foundation in lighting scenes and managing a great range of camera, lens, grip and lighting systems.

It’s his passion for climbing and the outdoors that redefined his trajectory and sparked a shift in focus, leading him to transition his expertise from controlled environments to the unpredictable outdoors. Today, he utilizes his skills to capture high-fidelity imagery in remote locations and his focus lies in telling character driven stories that matter.
