To capture the restlessness of the story, we had to seek out the chaos ourselves. For the visual identity of 15 Jaar, we chose a backdrop that breathes the raw reality of the narrative: the suburbs of Paris. Working with a local fixer, we entered the banlieues with a docu run-and-gun approach.

We had to move fast, operating unobtrusively to maintain the authenticity of the neighborhood, yet bold enough to claim the shots we needed. The tension on the streets was palpable; that feeling that something could happen at any moment, was something we wanted to translate directly through the lens. No polished sets, just the reality of the street as a canvas for a life story.
